Adolecent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment
Empowering girls through access to quality learning opportunities in order to foster a supportive community that promotes all-inclusivity for every girl to succeed and trive in all aspects of life.
The Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment, (AGILE) Project is a World Bank assisted project for Sokoto state geared at improving secondary education opportunities for adolescent girls aged between 10 and 20.
Adolescent girls in Sokoto are generally faced with challenges that prevent them from accessing and completing secondary education due to socio-cultural, financial constraints, and infrastructural deficits.
Empowering girls through access to quality learning opportunities in order to foster a supportive community that promotes all-inclusivity for every girl to succeed and trive in all aspects of life.
To create a state where girls have access to opportunities that make them reach their full potential, become decent leaders and change-makers, as well as contribute to a more just, inclusive, and prosperous society for all.
